ONYX Fitness – 24-Hour Access Terms & Conditions

By signing up for a membership with ONYX Fitness Ramsbottom Ltd, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions governing the use of our 24-hour access, unmanned facility. These terms are in place to ensure the safety, responsibility, and mutual respect of all members.

1. 24-Hour Access & Unmanned Operation

ONYX Fitness Ramsbottom Ltd operates as a 24-hour, unmanned facility, meaning that there may be no staff or supervision present during your visit.

All members enter and use the facility and equipment entirely at their own risk.
 

CCTV is in operation throughout the facility for security and safety monitoring purposes.
 

2. Health & Safety

Members are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit and medically cleared to engage in exercise activities.
 

Emergency Procedures: In the event of an emergency, members should call 999 to alert emergency services immediately.
 

First Aid Kits are provided and located in clearly marked areas of the facility along with fire extinguishers.
 

Public Liability Insurance: ONYX Fitness Ramsbottom Ltd holds public liability insurance, providing coverage for injuries caused by negligence on the part of the gym. This does not cover injuries caused by misuse of equipment or failure to adhere to gym rules.
 

3. Access Control

Entry to the facility is permitted only via authorized access methods. Access is non-transferable.
 

Allowing non-members or unauthorized guests into the gym is strictly prohibited.
 

Members must keep their access credentials confidential and report any security issues to the management.
 

4. Use of Equipment

Safety First: Members must use equipment safely and responsibly at all times.
 

Induction: If members are unsure of the proper function or safe use of any equipment, they must seek guidance during staffed hours.
 

Hygiene: All equipment must be wiped down after use and returned to its designated place.
 

Maintenance: In the event of faulty or broken equipment, members should report the issue immediately. Do not use equipment that appears unsafe.
 

5. Parent & Child Memberships

The parent or guardian must accompany the child at all times while on the premises.
 

Children are not permitted to use equipment that is unsuitable for their age or development level. Certain areas of the gym may be restricted to adults only.
 

The parent or guardian accepts full responsibility for the child’s safety, conduct, and use of the facility during the visit.
 

Both the parent and child enter and use the gym at their own risk. ONYX Fitness Ramsbottom Ltd bears no liability for injury or accidents incurred through misuse of equipment or unsupervised activity.
 

6. Conduct & Behaviour

All members are expected to act respectfully toward others and the facility.
 

Harassment, intimidation, or misuse of equipment may result in immediate membership suspension or termination.
 

The gym reserves the right to take appropriate action for any disruptive, dangerous, or unlawful behavior.
 

7. Liability

ONYX Fitness Ramsbottom Ltd shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, accident, loss, or damage sustained on the premises.
 

Members agree to waive all claims against the gym, its directors, staff, and affiliates for any liability arising from the use of the facilities.
 

Indemnity: Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless ONYX Fitness Ramsbottom Ltd for any third-party claims arising from their own misuse of the facility or failure to follow these Terms & Conditions.
 

8. Data Protection

Any personal data provided during membership registration will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

9. Changes to Terms

ONYX Fitness Ramsbottom Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes in advance, and continued use of the facilities will signify acceptance of any revised terms.
 

It is the responsibility of members to stay updated with the latest Terms & Conditions.
